Stratford Summer Music Festival held a songwriting camp for youth, and I got to lead two groups of creative young musicians. We wrote group songs, listened to many great songwriters from Canada’s history, and each participant wrote at least one song on their own. A final sharing of the songs with family, teachers and Festival staff was a real highlight.
